The techniques covered in this session can also be applied to Instruction sheets and other sheets to improve the general navigation around your Excel files.

  • Using range names (including an unbreakable hyperlink)

  • Using an old Excel macro plus new dynamic arrays

INDEX and MATCH Solutions

The INDEX-MATCH combination is an advanced technique that can solve many look up problems. The two functions are useful in their own right, but together they provide a range of solutions to common look up requirements.
