Here’s a useful technique to amend lots of formulas in a column but not their formats.

In the image below I want to adjust all the formulas in column F to match the formula in cell F2.
I don’t want to have to reformat the total rows – so I only want to paste formulas in the cells below F2.
Here are the steps.
1. Select cell F2 and can copy it.
2. Press Ctrl + Space bar – this selects the whole column.
3. Press function key F5 and click the Special button.
4. Select Formulas and click OK.
5. Press in sequence Alt H V F this shortcut pastes just the formulas only – job done.
