Here is how you make the change.
Save all your work in Excel, Word and Outlook and PowerPoint as this requires an Office update.
Click the File tab and then click Options (bottom left of screen).
Or press in sequence Alt T O (don’t hold the keys down).
In the Excel Options dialog click the Language option (on left). Click the top Add a Language button (top right).
Find and select English (United Kingdon) and click Install.
This requires an Office update, so you need to click OK.
This may take a few minutes to download and install and you will need to restart Excel.
But then Excel’s interface uses Australian spelling – see a couple of examples below.
I don’t recommend using Merge and Center, but at least it is now spelled correctly.
The Customise options are now spelled correctly.
