Better MROUND Function for Excel

I have covered this issue before in a previous blog post.
The MROUND function is supposed to allow you to round one number by another number. The results are inconsistent – see listing below.
The formula in cell B2 has been copied down.
As you can see the rounded numbers vary between the whole number and ending in .05.
The formula in cell C2 provides consistent results and is shown below.
In the image below you can see a similar problem in column F with the consistent results in column G.
Custom Function
To provide an easy to use and consistent solution we can create a custom function.
Cell I2 (image below) shows the LAMBDA function used to test the custom function formula.
The New Name dialog for the fnMROUND custom function is shown below.
The custom function in use is shown below in cell M2.
